Kevin Augustine is an information professional with experience working in academic libraries. As a Research and Instruction Librarian for California State University, Stanislaus, Kevin provides reference and instruction services at the University Library. At Stanislaus State, Kevin coordinates circulation services and the instruction program and is the library Liaison to the following departments: Advanced Studies in Education, Kinesiology, Liberal Studies, Philosophy, and Teacher Education.
Prior to Stanislaus State, he interned and worked as a Metadata Analyst at Stanford University, contributing to projects like the Gaihozu: Japanese imperial maps collection, detailed in National Geographic. He is a member of the California Academic Research Libraries, SJSU Alumni Association, and American Library Association. Kevin holds a Master of Library and Information Science from San Jose Staté University, a Bachelor in English from California State University, Chico, and an Associate in Liberal Arts from Yuba Community College. He is the newsletter editor for the bi-monthly, joint publication, Valley Habitat, of the Yokuts Group of the Sierra Club and the Stanislaus Audubon Society.
